Create a modern, luxe office
When I’m working, I need an environment that keeps me calm while also sparking creativity. So for my office, I wanted clean lines and a light color palette to create a blank canvas for me to continuously feel inspired by, as well as help calm any stress and anxiety I may experience at work.
The clean lines, monotone colors, and plants in this space epitomize organic, modern interior design. The luxe comes from all of the little details. Here are some tips for you to achieve this look in your space as well.
Mix pieces with similar color palettes.
When you first walk in, you see layers of ivory dispersed throughout the space. The painting, chair, blanket, rugs, stool and planter all are different shades of white creating a monochromatic color scheme.
The beautiful, deep green of this Kentucky Palm is the element of interest this monochrome room needed. It helps draw the eye to the gold in the painting by framing it in a natural way. This gold epitomizes luxe.
Add art that creates texture and brightness.
To add interest to the monochrome color scheme in this space, I made these pieces. They draw your eye up, and frame this luxe dresser that I added to reflect the light in this room.
The plants help retain the modern vibe, while the faux fur rug adds that little bit of luxe umph to the space.
Style a shelf to add a pop of color and luxe details.
I added red to this space to pull in a punch of color, but I placed it in between luxe white decor pieces made of stone on a bookshelf with clean lines to retain that modern feel.
The stone helps add a natural element of luxe, right above the driftwood that was literally created by water flowing over beautiful wood.
